Now is the time to submit your abstract!

We warmly invite presentation proposals from diverse fields, including psychology, child psychiatry, social and political sciences. We also encourage submissions showcasing various methodological approaches, particularly experimental, intervention-based, and register-based studies. Both descriptive and intervention-focused research is highly welcome.

INVEST – Inequalities, Interventions and New Welfare State Research Flagship Centre aims at providing a new model for the welfare states that is more equal, better targeted to problem groups, more anticipatory as well as economically and socially sustainable. INVEST operates under the University of Turku and the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare, and the operations are funded by the Research Council of Finland Flagship Programme, the host institutions, and various other external research funders such as European Research Council (ERC) and National Institute of Health (NIH)
